So many things.... I'm acutally excited for school to start, believe it or not. I love coming back after a long break and seeing the people that I haven't seen since school ended. And of course, this year I'm a senior! Which means I have the incoming Freshman--or Fish-- as we call them, to berrate. :D I've been waiting for this year my whole life! Ok, well, since Freshman Year, basically.
In other news! I got a spiffy new laptop. It's made by Toshiba and it has ZOMG Vista!!! xD I'm a sucker for schnazzy technology. I'm hoping I'll get Photoshop for Christmas, so I can make some art magick. lol. Oh! After six years of yanking, tightening, and pulling.....I'm getting these dadgum braces off! *cheers* Actually, I'm going in for my retainer impression on Spept. 9th. Then the appointment after, I get them off. But still! I, Sydni Goza, will be braceless for most of my Senior Year! I don't get them off in time for Senior Pictures, but that's ok. I'll get 'Most Changed' at my 10-year reunion then. :P I'm so excited. I can't wait to see if anyone notices. Of course they will, though, they've never seen me before I had them. ;D Shame. They were pretty bad. I mean, six years? Yeah, they had to be pretty bad to take six years. xD dumb teef.

Welcome to not-so-fabulous Las Vegs
Today was quite eventful. I woke up- after only four hours of sleep- and went to church with Arthur (my boyfriend) and well, church usually ends around 12:45, so my mom got all crazy-ballistic when we came back at 1:30. She was all 'Where have you two been?' like she thinks we've been making out somewhere- or worse. Come on, I do stupid thjings sometimes, but I'm not that stupid!
Anyway, I had only a couple hours to pack for a three week trip to Vegas to see my dad. That was a mess in itself. I think I packed enough clothes to last three months rather than three weeks. Then we had to drive an hour and a half to Shreveport to get me to the airport on time (which we weren't anyway.) I got to the luggage check-in just as they were boarding my flight. So, I had to zoom through security- losing my JUST PAID FOR pepsi- stupid airline rules. I got there just in time for Priority Boarding (which is me). The stewardess was all uppity about me being late, but on four hours of sleep and even more hours of traveling, packing, and hassling security for taking my fricken caffiene, I was NOT in the mood.
I got a window seat though, so it was all good. I sat by a nice little boy and his grandma. He let me play with his Gameboy Advance and I kicked his little kindergarten butt at MarioKart. XD The flight was okay, there were a lot of teenagers on the plane, which made me wonder if it was some twisted Senior trip (seriously, who sends a bunch of minors to Vegas for their Senior trip???) or if they were just really young looking 21 year olds. Doubt it.
I was so happy when we landed though. Sitting in an uncomfortable seat for two and a half hours is no walk through the park. My legs hurt like heck. I had to call my mom immediately after I got off the plane just so she wouldn't go into hysterics. Daddy had fun carrying my luggage. It's three times as big as me. XD Poor Daddy.
And now I'm here, in his not-so-cozy one bedroom apartment...and I get put on the couch. Thanks Daddy, love you too. He seriously needs to clean up the place. It looks like the Bachelor Pad from Hell. He uses his sink as a stand-in for a trash can. -___-; Seriously, Dad, trash cans don't cost THAT much.
Hopefully something FUN will happen tomorrow. I'm so bored. And I've only been here a couple hours!

It took me 17 years, but I finally appreciate the value of a dollar.
I went Texarkana with my mom, stepdad, boyfriend and uncle to Ta Molly's, a really scrumptious Mexican restaurant, and had a little birthday shindig. Thankfully my mother didn't make the waiters/waitresses sing to me this year. It would've been a very facepalmy moment.
After that we all traveled over to the mall where my eyes flashed little dollar signs as I window-shopped. Well, to say the least, window-shopping didn't last very long. My first time using my brand-spanking-new debit card, I bought a nifty little sundress to wear on my trip to Vegas tomorrow. I felt so proud to have a debit card and to slide it into the card reader like a 'grown-up' (Apparently, in my younger years, I thought this was the extent of adulthood.). It was the best feeling ever.....and then I bought an engagement journal for my boyfriend (and soon-to-be-fiancee, I know it's coming!) and I, and this time the feeling wasn't so grand as the balance in my Registrar became less and less.
To top the night off, we had to go to Target to buy me a swimsuit that was 'modest' enough to wear in Vegas (ha..modest...Vegas... XD) because, that's how my boyfriend is. He wants me to be classy, not trashy. So, I bought a bikini (because as long as it's around him I could wear a leaf and he'd be happy -___-;) and swim shorts and a tank top. Which, when you add that all up, is quite expensive for newly-debit-user me. It was painful the third-and final- time I swiped that card. I daresay until I have more greenbacks in the bank, I will be dreading the use of my Debbie. Yes, I've named her Debbie. After all we've been through today, she deserves a respectable name.
So, there went my day....and my paycheck for the this month. D:

So, here's an update on my life:
I now have my driver's license (go me!)
I'm still dating that wonderful guy I was last blog entry!
I'm officially a Senior!
and I'm going to Vegas on Sunday!
....oh, and my phone is at the bottom of Aquaman in Six Flags Over Texas. Yay...me....not.
I promise not to be quite so hyper in these entries now, guys. So, you can come out now. ^.^; I haven't had anything major happen besides the above, so I guess my life just sounds soooo interesting huh?
I turn 17, in like, less than a week though! That's always great. Hmmm, I really thought I was going somewhere with this, ah, oh well.
See ya when I see ya.
